Privacy

Your writing stays on your computer. We keep almost nothing about you, and we never sell any of it.

1. This website

No analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Your browser remembers a few choices for you (the theme you picked on the Amanuenses page, and that a loading screen has played), and those stay in your browser. They are never sent to us.

The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, it keeps short-lived technical logs (your IP address, the page asked for, the time) to keep the site running and safe from attacks. We do not use them to follow anyone.

2. Amanuenses, in your browser

What you write is kept in your browser and in a folder you choose on your own computer. It is not sent to us, and there is no server of ours holding your books. We cannot read them, and if you clear your browser and have no folder, we cannot restore them.

3. Supporting us

When you buy us a coffee, the payment is handled by the support service you pay through (for example Buy Me a Coffee, Ko-fi or your UPI app). They receive what they need to take the payment. We receive the amount, and your name and message only if you choose to leave them. We never see your card or bank details.

4. Accounts and purchases

There are no accounts and nothing is sold yet. Before either arrives, this page will say exactly what is kept and why, and the date above will change.

5. Who else sees it

Nobody, except the services named here for the part they run, or when the law requires it. We do not sell or rent anything.

6. Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you can complain if you think we got something wrong. Write to ajay@mathematicians.in; we answer within 30 days. We are in Patiala, Punjab, India.

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect anything about children. If you think we have, write to us and we will delete it.
