Terms

The terms for this website and for Amanuenses, in plain words. If anything is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

1. Who we are

We are the Mathematicians (“we”, “us”), in Patiala, Punjab, India. You can reach us at ajay@mathematicians.in.

2. Your work is yours

We claim no right to anything you write or make with Amanuenses, including books you sell. Your writing stays on your own computer; it is not sent to us.

3. Early access

Amanuenses in your browser is free to use in early access, Minimal and Studio both. It is being built while you use it: features change, and things can break. Keep copies of your work, by giving it a folder and exporting what matters.

4. Supporting us

Money given through Buy us a coffee is a gift to keep the Mathematicians going, not a purchase, and buys nothing in return. If you paid by mistake, twice or the wrong amount, see Refunds.

5. Using the site fairly

Don’t attack the site, try to break into it, or use it to break the law or harm other people.

6. No promises we can’t keep

We build carefully, but the website and the software come as they are, without a guarantee that they are free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost work or indirect losses, and our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.

7. Changes, and the law

We may update these terms; the date above is always the current version, and anything sold will carry its own terms here before it goes on sale. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Patiala, Punjab have jurisdiction.
